Cherokee Garden Club Community Fund
Grant Application Guidelines
The Cherokee Garden Club Community Fund was created in 2008 by the Cherokee Garden Club as a nonprofit organization for the purpose of expanding community outreach furthering the goals of our mission statement:
“The purpose of the Cherokee Garden Club Community Fund is to protect, improve, and restore the environment of the surrounding community through programs and actions in the field of education and conservation.”
The Community Fund awards grants to qualified projects that fall within the scope of our mission statement. Organizations interested in receiving grants must submit proposals for consideration. Historically, grant amounts have ranged from $1,000 to $5,000.
General Guidelines:
Grant requests will be evaluated by the Community Fund Board who may request additional information or schedule a site visit at your project. After final approval, successful applicants will be notified and funds will be disbursed in May.
